Route starts along the road to Park Lake, is part of the Great Divide Mountain bike trail. There is a section of the Lava Mountain trail which is washed out, very steep and technical and may require a bit of "hike a bike", and two short but steep boulder gardens after you round Lava Mountain. Lot of old mining ruins and ruined log cabins on Cataract creek road.
