Soda Springs Road

Gravel route from Soda Springs Rd to Soda Springs Rd, Woodruff Mill, Klickitat County, Washington

"Ride to the campground and back. Excellent views. "

Grayback Road/Soda Springs

Gravel route from Grayback Rd to Grayback Rd, Goldendale, Klickitat County

"Amazing views of Mt Adam’s and the Klickitat Valley possibly the prettiest “there-n-back” ride in the area. Gravel on the road can be deep so fat tires are useful here. The drop down into Sheep Canyon may require a bit of walking--but enjoy all of the birds in the canyon. At the end is a gate with a "authorized only" sign. Parking you may need a Washington Park Pass (I added a picture of the trailhead sign)."

Southwest Clay Street to Southwest Mill Street

Gravel route from SW 58th Ave to SW 61st Dr, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon

"Excellent small reminder of gravel near the city. I use this as my route to 61st and avoid the huge climb off of Canyon Ct. Enjoy!"

Northwest Firelane 10-side path

Gravel route on Firelane 10, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon

Klickitat Trail and the Endless Uphill Downs... and no Hobbits

Gravel route on Harms Rd, Centerville, Klickitat County, Washington

"The Klickitat trail segment can be rough on a standard gravel bike. The path is easy, but the rocks are brutal after time. Make sure you have sturdy tire--tubeless would be best to let the air out to take some of the impact. Suspension is not necessary but will make things more comfortable."

Typhoon Grinder

Gravel route on Pacific Way, Gearhart, Clatsop County, Oregon

"There are some amazing gravel routes reserved by the locals to keep available in case of a disaster. Many of these are behind gates closed and reserved for typhoon evacuations....closed to motorized vehicles that is. Start and end at or around the Dairy Queen in Gearhart. "

Klickitat Trail to O'Brien Road

Gravel route from Klickitat Trail to Dalles Mountain Rd, Centerville, Klickitat County, Washington

"Do this one uphill on a windy day... trust me. Everyone should experience being pushed up a huge hill. Also, the O'Brien road can get some deep ruts in the road, so be careful coming downhill. Excellent ride. "

Necanicum Mainline

Gravel route from US-26 to Hazel rd, Seaside, Clatsop County, Oregon

Lees Falls on the Tualatin River

Gravel route from SW Lee Falls Rd to Hillsboro Reservoir Rd, Gaston, Washington County, Oregon

35 mi   gravel

Lyle Loop

Gravel route from WA-14 to Klickitat St, Lyle, Klickitat County, Washington

"I find this route more enjoyable than the upper stretches of the Klickitat Rails to Trails. I prefer this counter-clockwise. The Centerville Highway coming out of Lyle is a 2 lane road, but traffic has decent visibility and you'll enjoy the nice views. "

17 mi   gravel

Pine Creek Road to Shaniko-Fossil Highway
