Thornton-de-Dale to Jerry Noodle Loop

Gravel route on Church Hill, Thornton Dale, North Yorkshire, England

"Mostly Forest fire roads, starting and finishing in Thornton-le-Dale on small roads. Heads into Dalby Forest to pick up the forest trails. Doesn't take the Dalby MTB trails at all, but no reason why the route couldn't be modified to pick up the trails starting at the visitor centre. Trails are mostly weather proof and you'll get some great views around Jerry Noodle."

Sutton Bank Visitor Centre loop via Boltby and mtb blue trail.

Gravel route from Sutton Bank to Unnamed Road, North Yorkshire, England

"Starting at the visitor Centre, down the main road to the first corner (steep and sometimes busy so need to take care) and off into the woods, on forest tracks and bridleways to Boltby. Quiet roads up Sneck Yate Bank but turning off and returning to the centre va the paradise red/blue trail. Challenging in places, route not always obvious, and steep/muddy. OS Maps advised. Expect to carry in places."

Weston to Dob Park

Gravel route from Unnamed Road to Norwood Bottom Rd, North Yorkshire, England

"Up through the woods on a permissive track (muddy at times), onto road, then down to Dob Park on loose stuff. Steep in places."

Scotch Corner and Oldstead

Gravel route on High Town Bank Rd, North Yorkshire, England

"Down to Oldstead via the Chapel at Scotch Corner, right onto a short section of narrow road before climbing back upto the start on chewed up tarmac and gravel road."

Aldwark to Borough Bridge

Gravel route on Ellenthorpe Ln, Aldwark, North Yorkshire, England

"Nice route in Summer, muddy in winter and sometimes around Myton on Swale, flooded. Short section of quiet road into Myton on Swale before picking up the farm tracks to Borough Bridge"

Coneythorpe to Minskip

Gravel route from Shortsill Ln to A6055, Minskip, North Yorkshire, England

"Track from Coneythorpe is tarmac but often covered in mud and farm debris, very minor single track road and very pleasant. Short section of A168, but this is a wide road and mostly quiet as traffic chooses the A1M. Take the left off the A168 under the A1M and you are onto farm tracks and bridleways"
