Mostly Forest fire roads, starting and finishing in Thornton-le-Dale on small roads. Heads into Dalby Forest to pick up the forest trails. Doesn't take the Dalby MTB trails at all, but no reason why the route couldn't be modified to pick up the trails starting at the visitor centre. Trails are mostly weather proof and you'll get some great views around Jerry Noodle.
