Starts and ends in Downieville. About half of this route is paved, but other than the 23 miles of hwy 49, there's not much traffic. Lots of gold mining history to see along the way.

Rode this a few months ago. Very challenging ride but well worth it! I will note there is extremely limited water along the route, we weren't able to find any until mile 70. The decent down HW49 at the end was the greatest feeling in the world.
