I tried this route recently but wasn't able to complete due to gates/private access areas. The gate soon after the course begins is open M-F until 4:30, Saturday appears to be open and Sunday it's closed. I decided to go the reverse route, making to Black Rock's Camp Tapawingo which apparently shares property with the Black Rock Mountain Bike Association (which has a wilderness obstacle course park seen on Google). I encountered a woman who said that in fact, the property/MTB park is private. This is not an easily used route only due to these restrictions. I was only able to traverse about half of the course and would guess there's at least 1-2 more gates. Definitely stretches of gravel, though a fair bit of pavement between Black Rock and Falls City.
