From US Frst Service Rd 1, Mad River, Trinity County to Salyer Mad River Rd, Mad River, Humboldt County, California
With a quick fording of the Mad River at the Western end of this stretch, you can then hook up with the Rattlesnake Route that starts/ends (depending on direction you are heading) just East of Dinsmore. By the way, The Mad River along this route is my favorite fishing ever. Small Trout for catch and release fun on Ultra-light gear could make for an awesome overnight riding adventure.
