Transition from Blue Ridge Parkway land to "Private" area, although the road appears to be public. It continues up to the ridge to National and State Land, but I have not ridden that far up so stopped short. It's private land on both side of road but county GIS map suggests it a public road. Proceed with caution and maybe carry some dog mace just in case. I ascended quietly and descended quickly to barking dogs in chase.
