Gravel route from Vestal Rd to Allison Ln, Glade Valley, Alleghany County, North Carolina

"Transition from Blue Ridge Parkway land to "Private" area, although the road appears to be public. It continues up to the ridge to National and State Land, but I have not ridden that far up so stopped short. It's private land on both side of road but county GIS map suggests it a public road. Proceed with caution and maybe carry some dog mace just in case. I ascended quietly and descended quickly to barking dogs in chase."
