Mixed Single-track (East Half) and ridge-top fire road (Western Half). There's a new single-track trail that bypasses the gates at the Western End and takes you out to Yerba Buena Rd. Fairly well graded. The connector has a VERY steep hill, but it's not too long, so walk it if you need to.
