Route that follows the Des Moines river valley all the way to Keokuk. Can be combined with the route from Ottumwa to Keosaqua for a multi-day bikepacking trip. The route includes a stop at Chatfield park to set up camp and a trip to Hyvee in Keokuk to pick up groceries (there and back). Only a couple miles of pavement and I tried my best to avoid highway 61.
