Oof. We tried to access this trail from the north end ... at Pond Eddy. Short story: Fail. Unless we missed something, this access point is pretty much impossible. We drove over the bridge from the NY to the PA side of the Delaware River. First problem: literally no place to park. So we drove back over the bridge and left the car in a restaurant parking lot on the NY side, then biked back over into PA. No huge deal, but it was a short-lived ride. We rode to the right from the bridge (SW direction attempting to get going on the trail to Milford). There are a very few homes along the dirt road (and one very scary dog). This quickly changed to a promising "double track" of an old road, but that ended quickly in a forest tangle. There was literally no apparent way forward. No hint of a trail that could be navigable by bike. We bailed out. Not sure how/where the 2023 poster found their way to this point coming up from the south! Bravo for that!

I did the section from Milford to 97- About 1/2 is paved the last 2 miles of fire tower rd does not really exist. It is a mixture of old logging/ mining roads some of which are fairly un-rideable and some bushwhacking. Once you go over the bridge to 97 the Millbrook in is on the left. Cold beer!
