Sand Creek Regional Greenway

Rainbow Lakes via Co Rd 116, FS 505, to Caribou St

Gravel route from Peak to Peak Hwy to Wolftongue Rd, Nederland, Boulder County, Colorado

"County 116 is a good quality gravel road, 505, the middle section of the route, is a rough jeep road. Caribou Street is again good quality gravel down to Nederland. Combine this with the Switzerland Trail and a bit of Peaks to Peaks Highway to make an amazing 50 mile loop from Nederland."

CO-40 W to Co Rd 125

Gravel route on 1st Ave, Deer Trail, Arapahoe County, Colorado

"Lots of empty rural gravel and dirt. A little more traffic on Ridge Road, but never much. Just gets you up in to the ponderosa zone for a few miles on Ridge."

High Line Canal Trail, south western gravel segments

Gravel route from High Line Canal Trail to Covington Dr, Englewood, Arapahoe County, Colorado

"Starting from the Waterton Road trailhead (just south of the Waterton Canyon Road entrance) the trail is almost a two-track and passes through several stock gates, with cattle on the trail at times. There is some pavement as you skirt Chattfield Reservoir in the state park (construction at the south end of the reservoir in 2018 had this connection was temporarily closed), a push up over some railroad tracks as you leave the park, then lots of beautiful suburban gravel all the way to Hampden Ave. Views of the Front Range, fancy homes, lots of suburban open space that almost feels like country in places, and a surprising amount of shade from the big cottonwoods along the canal path."

Ralston Creek Trail, North Table Mountain segment

Gravel route from Ralston Creek Trail to Co Rd 193, Golden, Jefferson County, Colorado

"Follows a small canal and is a great way to connect the paved segments of Ralston Creek Trail from Blunn Reservoir to Clear Creek Trail Trail at Easley Road for a Denver to Golden loop. A couple hundred feet of single track at the Easley Road end and about 1 mile of pavement on Easley Road to connect to Clear Creek Trail. "
