Narragansett Trail

Dirt route from Narragansett Trail to Old Mill Rd, Charlestown, Washington County, Rhode Island

"Traverses between Narragansett Tribal lands and a sand plain grassland Conservation Area. The conservation lands were once owned by United Nuclear Corp. and the site of one of America’s “criticality incidents”. It also traverses along a power line right of way....going from sand, to gravel to rocky. Still, it is a nice walk or ride!"

South County Trail to Indian Church Road

Gravel route from Narrow Ln to Old Mill Rd, Charlestown, Washington County, Rhode Island

"Beautiful ride that traverses Federal Wildlife Refuge and Narragansett Indian Tribe lands. Be respectful of regulations and the organizations. Across coastal sand plain and woodland habitat, with significant history. The road is accessible, but not the lands on each side. Be advised, ticks and within season, mosquitoes and biting flies are abundant!"

Moody Bridge Rd

Gravel route on Moody Bridge Rd, Hadley, Hampshire County, Massachusetts

"While a short .75 mile ride, it is across a division of the National Wildlife Refuge System, and can be part of a rural bike ride in combination with other nearby roads."
