50 mi   gravel

Lander to Hudson Gravel Lollipop

Gravel route on Fremont St, Lander, Fremont County, Wyoming

"Leaving Lander towards Sinks Canyon, turn right on Mortimore Ln then right briefly on the highway before a left onto Lyon's Valley Rd to access the gravel at Coalmine Rd. About 50/50 pavement and gravel, this is a fantastic ride with quiet country roads, 2 track dirt, and perfect gravel. Take a little money for a cafe stop at Kia Espresso in Hudson."

Shoshoni Lake Road

Gravel route from Baldwin Creek Rd to Baldwin Creek Rd, Boulder Flats, Fremont County, Wyoming

"This exceptional climb is an out-and-back that is accessed via riding Squaw Creek Rd or Baldwin Creek Rd which is Lander's most popular road riding loop."

Wyo 131

Gravel route from Fremont St to S 3rd St, Lander, Fremont County, Wyoming

"The iconic Lander area gravel route. At 131 miles and 10k feet of climbing this route ticks all the boxes of western Wyoming gravel riding. From fast gravel in rolling hills with incredible vistas of the Wind River Range to Red Desert windy rocky roads to a high alpine road through aspen and pine passing trout-filled lakes and streams along the way, this route is one for the bucket list. Break it up into two days by getting a shuttle from the local shuttle company, Wind River Shuttle, where it crosses Hwy 287 at mile 60 or for the very hardy give it go in one very long day. Note, there is no water from mile 20 in Hudson all the way to mile 90 in Atlantic City. Most ride it in two days by starting at mile 60 the first day riding the first half counterclockwise towards Lander. Then on day 2, start again at mile 60 riding clockwise on the second half with a stop in Atlantic City for lunch before enjoying the beautiful Louis Lake Rd and ridiculously fun descent through Sinks Canyon back to Lander. Twin Beaver

Gravel route from WY-789 to WY-789, Kotey Place, Fremont County, Wyoming

"Beautiful high plains Wyoming ride with great views all along. A good spot to park at the start of Twin Creek Rd. Usually ridden in the counterclockwise direction. Gradual climb towards Beaver Rim with a short steep kick just before intersecting with BLM 2032 (Atlantic City-Hudson Rd). Steep downhill dropping back off of Beaver Rim. Mostly good gravel with some dirt with the last few miles a rougher 2 track."
