This road is a mixed bag. From the north the first 0.50mi are maintained dirt road until the end of the houses. This is maintained in winter. After that there is a parking area for the Hobo Falls Trail. From here there is 1.15mi of pavé, or unmaintained ancient road. This section is rough, rocky, and eroded but open to motor vehicle traffic. After this there is a 0.50mi stretch of maintained dirt road starting at the houses.
