ARANDOMRIDER is correct. The last two miles of Birdshot road is muddy and and wet. I drove my 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road about a half of a mile on it but decided I may as well turn around (Which wasn't that easy). I probably would have made it to Beaver River rd. but didn't want to chance it as I was alone. This road turns into Pancake Pit rd. and if you are not paying close attention you will miss the "turn off" where Bird Shot rd. continues. Hardly any gravel and barely ever used.

The last 2mi of Birdshot Rd (SE of Beaver River Rd) is a Jeep trail with several deep puddles and lots of mud. Might be drier later in the summer. Birdshot road from Lax Lake to this point is chunky, but fine for a mtb.
