Mostly good dirt but some sand. Would recommend a MTB tire or even a mid+ tire. I would only attempt when I new the sand was wet and solid. This route can kill you, be prepared you will likely need a sage to have enough water. Not sure it can be done in one day. I did it on a UTV. No Joke this route can KILL YOU.
