Ranges from 2wd to rugged 4wd but ride-able on a gravel bike with decent tires. VERY scenic.

Definitely bring a MTB or an eMTB - this is a 4x4 trail, that climbs to over 8k elevation. Doable on gravel, but very slow and difficult! :) but super beautiful and great conditions right now (good temps, very little snow in the ground, and pasable).

Definitely take a MtB, if not an EMTB. But yes, it’s wonderfully beautiful and really fun. And very little snow on the ground right now.

This is a great road, but really better ridden on a full-suspension mountain bike.
