I rode this route last Sunday, August 22, 2021, although I started and finished in Bonner Springs. Awesome mix of gravel and asphalt. Hills were challenging.
BEWARE: I was chased by no less than three off the chain country dogs. Thankfully not on any hills; I was able to out pedal or power around them. One big black dog was pretty close to me back tire but he gave up once I was out of his territory.
