Mostly gravel, with many rough pavement areas as well. Does include a short section on Route 5, but has high visibility or can be shortcutted. Park at the shooting range for the start point. Ends with paved, tough hills and a final small gradient to the end, usually into a headwind.

Most of route is gravel, lots of smaller lanes in the forest to explore
