Rode this in July 2020. Clearly it's rarely ridden and ends up crossing private land with lots of "no trespassing" signs on the western end. Unless you have MTB gearing (very tall gears) and 45+mm knobby tires I would absolutely avoid this segment. I did this on a gravel bike and regretted the west-most third of this. 20-degree+ loose gravel grades on a gravel bike meant I had to walk much of it. My tires simply couldn't get traction at all.
