North of Route 2 isn’t accessible. South of Route 2 is mostly dirt and sand. I had an absolute blast on my 35mm tires. Parked near Wax Factory Pond off of Williamsville Rd by the corner of Burnshirt and Williamsville.

To get to the parts north of Rt2 Either have to go east to Baldwinville rd or west to 2a and then right after going under route 2 into Templeton state forest. Very sandy for a bit directly north of rt 2, but doable. Done it on a 700x32 and 700x42 tires, I recommend the later.

Mtn biked the northern part of this. There isn't anyway across rt. 2, so I cannot recommend the northern part.

Sandy and rocky, this trail is not a typical rail trail, it’s quad/snow mobile trail. Would be good for MTB or fat bike but was pretty jarring for a gravel bike.
