This trail could be great, however it is badly overgrown and there are many humps (little ups and downs) for most of it's length between Hurricane Rd. and Yungblut Lane. The signage from the City of Thorold warns that the trail is not maintained (at all) and it appears to be quite true. I attempted this on September 3, 2023. There were parts that had to be walked. For now, until it gets some clearly needed maintenance, I recommend avoiding this trail. It is nothing like what you expect from the Steve Bauer trail compared to other parts of it in Welland and Pelham.
