This small dirt road goes back to the historic Stokes house. At which point you can take a trail beside of the Snows and go over to Lake Towhee.

The trail you would take off of the dirt road to go over to Lake Towhee is known as the yellow Trail the yellow Trail also goes past the Stokes house in the opposite direction from the lake but unfortunately it eventually turns into a total mess and becomes quite the adventure. Yes it can be done yes I have done it but if he comes a little crazy as you go through some partial swampy area
