Gravel Segment
From Loop Rd Big Cypress National Preserve, Ochopee, Collier County to County Rd 94, Ochopee, Miami-Dade County, Florida
Some pretty good hard pack gravel in these parts. Begin at Monroe Station (North Access off 41) as they offer very good parking. This is Big Cypress so you're going to be in the shade for the majority of the ride (before noon and after 3p). The map made it difficult to loop back to the start so this is only half of the ride. Out and back making it a 47.5 epic gravel ride. You will encounter gators, snakes and other wildlife but they don't bother you; just beware as you would anywhere else in Florida.
2 overlapping segments.

As of winter 2024 it was open to public , it's a well kept dirt road with lose small gravel rocks over compact sand and some muddy stretches, nice to watch wildlife and enjoy the forest views.

The tarmac from the Eastern entrance to the loop road has some rivers flowing across it. Some light fording has to be done to get through. Managed ok on an Africa Twin. The gravel route beyond is pretty well packed and largely dry at this time.

Would not let us ride. Security guard at each entrance stopping non residents.
