Has anyone ridden this road? Is it open to public? It appears to begin paved, and turns into bare dirt once up in the woods.

It is a private road and gated

My family drove about half of this road before we turned around because it was getting late. The posted signs appear to be for the properties off to the side, so I presumed it wasn't private. I would love to know for sure though because I'd like to go to the end and see if there is a view.
