Well-surfaced, mostly shady fire road. Not recommended on less than 32mm reinforced tires -- large, sharp gravel in a few sections, and also some soft sand to be careful on. Bug net highly recommended for fall.
BEWARE: make sure you don't turn early on the trail to0 Spring Camp -- this road does not go through to valley and you will be hike-a-biking 6 miles in the sun to get back out.
