The east terminus of this road actually crosses the railroad track and connects to Dixie Rd, though it is not indicated as such on the map. It is relatively flat, contrary to the elevation profile that looks one of the TdF's days in the Alps.

I've been running on dirt roads for a very long time. This is the best road I've ever found. Surrounded on one side by a big imposive fence and a railroad track on the other, there are no houses to worry about. Traffic is very rare. My dog loves it the several times we've tried it.
