CX tire minimum. There is always a smooth line, but if you aren’t comfortable with stones, you’ll want to pick through it slower. It’s a scenic trail with lots of rollers to carry speed. Low air pressure will help. I can ride as fast as I want on 50mm gravel tires for context.
