Did joes branch and six mile creek rds in our Jeep. Fun road. A couple of low water crossings and a couple of spots near and at Slabtown where you can drive into the creek bed when water is low.

Some very pretty sections. Extremely fun and varied surfaces. Same with Joe’s Branch Road. I’ve done it on dual sport and adventure motorcycles a few times now.

There is a small store at Lockport, good place to start and finish. Pretty rocky in some places, recommend mt bike vs gravel. There is a swimming hole with rope swing about halfway. Just follow the main stream, but there is a side road at Slabtown about a mile from Lockport.

This is a very fun and scenic place to ride. I've ridden here 3 times so far and come away muddy every time so be prepared. Also, it's totally rideable on a gravel bike, but I prefer my MTB due to the amount of mud and standing water.

Fun! With a little rain, a few shallow water crossings, too.
