Dirt Route
On Arroyo Seco Rd, Greenfield, Monterey County, California
This is a Forest Service Road which is passable for bicycles. Water is available along the route approximately 8 miles from Arroyo Seco Campground and then along the river proximal to the turnaround point at the Indians Campground. Awesome views and wildflowers in the spring. No services of any kind once you depart from Arroyo Seco.

Feb 2022: route is open for cycling. Some small slides have produced scattered rocks on the trail however only segment requiring walking with bike is at MP 7.7 from Arroyo Seco where spring provides clear water for drinking.

One of our group used a 40 mm wide tire and had no problems. I suspect that 35 would be the lower limit.

What range of tire width would you recommend?
