Riding clockwise, from 48th & hillside you follow original hwy 50 to Peabody (it left Newton on Old Trails, then n on Hillside). Enter Walton on grant, exit north on N Walton, easiest way between these streets is to cut through parking lots of the Hilltop and Whistlestop. 96th from US50 to Peabody is paved, you can drop a mile south to 84th if you prefer but you'll have to go back to 96th before you get to town.
