A dirt road with rolling hills that runs the length of the Uncompahgre Plateau. Numerous other dirt roads connect to this route from Delta and Montrose from the east and Nucla and Norwood from the west. Many long distance loops are possible connecting these dirt roads. Divide Road is packed dirt suitable for gravel bikes (no mtn bikes needed).

where exactly does it start and end?

I did the middle 30ish miles. A little rough and/or sandy at times, but totally gravel-bike-able. A roller-coaster with great views.
