This crosses Weyerhauser property so It's closed to motor vehicles most of the time. You can walk/ride through, however, you're on your own as there won't be any vehicles to provide assistance if you need it. It's quite a long/steep climb, and with recently laid thick gravel (1"-2" in size) they set probably in summer 2018. It's a somewhat challenging gravel road to climb and you'll wish for low gears (like 1.1:1 or 1:1). You'd benefit from a slightly knobbied rear tire on the steeper parts. Make sure you have your GPS route set because there are many turnoffs and you'll get lost otherwise. No cell coverage at the top obviously.
