This is an absolute gauntlet of a gravel ride. I'm all for being underbiked at times, but would say that the best bike for this job would be a short travel full suspension MTB. Rode it from the east approach up to London Mine with minimal hike-a-bike, but there are tons of loose baby head size rocks and it's fairly steep at times. Beyond London, it's mostly hike-a-bike (steep af, rocky, loose) for most mortals and not particularly fun.
