The lower portion of the road is very well maintained, the upper portion of the road is NOT PLOWED. Do not attempt this road in the winter time without a 4x4. Also, it's through a cornfield - you may not be able to find the road! Suggestion is to approach it from the south, then steer for the green road sign when you emerge into the cornfield. The road is packed dirt, the cornfield is not. You really don't want to get into the cornfield.
