This road does not go all the way through. Barbour Creek Dead ends , we found an old trail we could tell people had rode down before so we went down it and found an OLD bridge that had been destroyed on both ends to keep people from crossing the creek. There was no way to get across the creek even if you waded, the embankment on the opposite side was a drop off of about 40 feet. You may be able to ride around CO Rd 97 to get back the loop I will check it soon. FYI Barbour Creek Road is a sandy sink pit as well. Started raining on us there and it turned to a thick goo that was pretty difficult to pedal through.
