This section is really awesome. Really fun and mostly rolling sandy clay over gravel, though gravel dominates in some small places. Very little traffic though I did encounter several teenagers in 4x4's going way too fast at one point. The only other issue was a couple of older black labs that chased me up the pinnacle of the big climb. I actually enjoyed it, I needed some motivation to speed up. I hit them with a squirt from the water bottle and they backed off. I also confirmed that tower rd connects at the four-way midway down the segment, making possible some more fun loops in this area
