Original Road from St. Francisville (Historic) to Wittsburg from early 1800's. St. Francisville sat on the Old Memphis to Little Rock Military road of 1820's. Strong's Ferry went across the St. Francis river here. Wittsburg Rd went north along the east side of Crowley's Ridge and was part of the Old Military Lane build down Crowley's Ridge around 1815. You can connect with Old Military Lane further north but it's asphalt (Hwy 163 - Crowley's Ridge Parkway) from Wittsburg to Farm Hill Rd.
