Sign posted on Shoal Creek Road clearly states no bikes allowed....so I went back and rode some blue, red and orange trails. Orange was single track, and while I was on a gravel bike it was not too technical, but a horse trail. Limbs and trees down (maybe recently from storms?) Also not very well travelled so LOTS of COBWEBS in my face. As a recent Helene evacuee, I was just happy to be on a bike. May try to go back again and avoid the orange trail.

Rode this trail yesterday...parts were horse trails that are better suited to single track mountain biking then gravel. Overall beautiful ride with a serious river crossing (12-24" deep and 120' wide)

I thought Shoal Creek Rd was closed for bikes and horses past a certain point, though IDK why. I saw a sign saying such when I rode there several years ago and I just saw someone else posting that on another site,
