Crisscrossing and sometimes in the Purgatory Creek dry bed this stretch has no marked entrance from the north and feeds into the back of a small suburb to the south. Easy to miss if not watching the map. Amazing for off-roading trips or just a country drive. There are a few homes tucked in around the road. I would not recommend a low car however I did it in a Nissan Maxima and was fine. Do not get caught here in inclement weather or flash flood risks including snow melt or runoff. The creek bed is mostly dry. Best off the grid road in VA.
