Beautiful ride, thoughtful route. Mountain vistas for many miles, wild horses, and desert roads that seem like they go on forever into the horizon. Some intimidating highway sections of this variety, particularly if windy like the day I visited. You'll get to ride past Florence ADX (don't get too close!) -- it's remote -- some of the quietest, most scenic desert ranch roads I've ridden. Recommend April or later, some washboarding on the gravel right after winter before county can get to resurfacing. Though it's probably quite hot in the summer, given that 95% of the route is exposed. Bring lots of water.
