Gravel Segment
From Marine Dr, Port McNeill to Marine Dr, Port Alice, Mount Waddington, British Columbia
This is a stellar ride which takes you along the side of multiple lakes and views that wont disappoint. With some sections of steeper grades this offers a challenge to those wanting to do a multi-day (1-2) trek. Potential to loop back to McNeill is a easy navigation that can be 90-100% gravel if done on the right path. *Note* only reason is isn't 100% gravel is due to the fact of coming into Port Alice you do end up on pavement the last 3 km roughly.

I rode this around the winter solstice and worked in a partial road return. Took pretty much every daylight hour (c. 8 hrs.) It didn't rain and I didn't see a soul or vehicle for about 80K in the middle. Magic!
