Variety of gravel conditions. Overall pretty good. Some dusty/fine silt gravel. Newer sections of gray gravel that is probably a little sharper stones than the older brown gravel, both of which are loose scattered rock on a harder surface. Very peaceful road to 4WD trailhead. Beyond this segment you can continue on the 4WD road and I did a little bit, but there were lots of very steep, very short ramps, it was signed to indicate non-motorized travel was allowed on the 4WD road beyond this segment. Before this segment is a beautiful freshly (2022) paved road.
