Gravel Route
From Old Day Creek Rd, Sedro-Woolley to Old Day Creek Rd, Clear Lake, Skagit County, Washington
This route may be in some areas that are closed to the public. It's considered DNR, but a lot of the Day Lake area is leased by one of the logging companies and may pose a problem. If you do this route, let me know what you think.

Rode this the other day. Sweet route, lots of tough climbing. The start point of this route is gated with a no trespassing sign, but you can continue up Old Day Creek Rd, take a right on Janicki Rd and then take a right in about 3/4 a mile at a gate where it states hiking/biking is allowed, just no motorized use. About halfway through the climb, you have to cross a gate that says its private property, but can be accessed with a permit through Axxess Rec - $4 for a day permit. I did hear some logging activity just after I started descending, so who know what their plans are - could end up affecting this route at some point.
