Decommissioned road bed. Primarily grass, moss, and thick leaf litter cover; very little gravel. Totally rideable on 700c x 38mm, but would have been more enjoyable with more squish. At north end (lower elevation end), the gate is broken off. Look for rusted out gate posts. A challenging ascent to Parker's Gap road.
