Le départ se fait au stationnement du centre de ski ou au chalet du club de motoneige.
La première section est un grand tronçon droit roulant, sauf après de fortes précipitations où il devient boueux et parsemé de grandes flaques d'eau.
La deuxième section, au sud du lac Fromenteau (Premier Lac) est parsemée de flaques d'eau permanentes parfois assez profondes pour se mouiller les pieds.
La troisième section commence par une montée sur un sentier de quad, suivie d'une longue descente rocheuse. Le sentier devient ensuite vallonneux sur une surface généralement solide avec quelques affleurements rocheux. Prendre le temps d'aller visiter la fosse à saumon Lady Gray.
La quatrième section est très roulante sur un chemin forestier. Elle mène à un court tronçon pavé (1km) qui relie la section du Premier Lac.
Cette section est une route de gravier qui commence par une longue montée et qui contourne le lac par le nord. Elle se termine par un sentier de quad d'environ 1km.
La dernière section est le retour par le premier tronçon.
