Some relatively smooth and dusty double-track jeep trails through the West-lake wildlife preserve area. Some relatively short/steep kicker-rollers across a beautiful but barren open vista. Easy to connect this 15 mile section to the Pines Rd. gravel road to the lakeside Pines campground. There is also a campground near the start of this section with free showers, in case you've got a long drive home and don't want to stew in your wet chamois too long!
