Gravel Route
From TX-16 to Rio Cir, Pipe Creek, Bandera County, Texas
70/30 gravel/road. Plenty of cattle gates, gravel, a creek crossing, and a good time. ~2400 ft of climbing. Feel free to cut out the Johnson Road "shortcut" at mile 24.5 on the return. There is a pretty wicked incline on loose gravel that reaches ~20% grade and a sketchy decline that tested the limits of my Canyon Grail. Johnson Road also looks private and can be easily missed but it is very much public.

Johnson Road uphill and subsequent downhill are a bit rowdy, probably will take the Upper Mason Creek route next time. They are still feasible on a gravel bike though.
